Terms of use

Draft text, waiting for legal review

The structure of this page is final. The wording is a draft: a lawyer confirms it before Express.Market opens for orders.

Scope

These terms cover the use of the Express.Market website, the catalogue and the ordering of products from the sellers present on it.

Who the contract is with

Express.Market is the marketplace. A purchase contract is concluded between the buyer and the seller of the product, and the seller is named on every product page and in the cart. Express.Market provides the platform, the payment flow and the delivery arrangement.

Accounts

Browsing and collecting a cart do not require an account. An account is needed to place an order and to follow it afterwards; the details given at registration must be accurate.

Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in euro and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise on the product page. Delivery is calculated separately, from the shipping origin of each seller, and is never estimated when the data is insufficient.

Delivery

Orders are shipped by the seller through the logistics partner of Express.Market. Products from several sellers may arrive in several parcels.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union may withdraw from a purchase within fourteen days of receiving the goods, with the exceptions foreseen by law, such as goods made to order. The procedure and the address for returns are given with each order.

Complaints and disputes

Complaints are handled first by Express.Market support together with the seller. Consumers in the European Union may also use the online dispute resolution platform of the European Commission.

Changes to these terms

Changes are published on this page with the date of the new version; orders already placed keep the terms that applied when they were placed.
